We inform you that, pursuant the publication in the website of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development—OECD, Ecuador joined the Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.
With this measure, the Ecuadorian tax administration has formally started the process to join an international information exchange network.
In order to avoid contingencies in Ecuador, this new scenario will oblige individuals holding international structures, to revise and verify that such structures meet compliance requirements.
